When I go to Google.com now it goes directly to my iGoogle homepage so I didn’t catch the tools that Google has available for staying on top of Olympics information until I just visited their site from another personal. They’ve got a nice Olympics widget you can add to your iGoogle page that gives you information on upcoming sporting events schedule, medal counts and general Olympic news. I really enjoy it, makes it really simple to quickly get some information. They also have links to Olympics related video and an neat tiny application that mashes Google maps into the fray with some neat graphics and Olympic information. I’m pretty adventurous when it comes to trying things, some of these make me at least pause to think about whether or not I’d be popping these snacks into my mouth. If you’re not a Facebook user you can see the new Facebook layout homepage in the screen grab above from my profile. Compared to the old-style below there’s quite a difference in layout and simplicity on the page.
With all the changes in aesthetics, are the previous concerns and questions about Facebook’s privacy issues with Beacon and everything else all in the past now? That should be much less of a statement and more like a question. A question you can actually ask about yourself on Mike On Ads website and post here. It’s a good thing that I’m secure in my manhood and testosterone levels because the site thought I has a 59% chance of being female. I believe the main reason for that’s because I don’t keep my browsing history cached in my browser for very long at all. So, if you’re going to go try it out for yourself, maybe randomly work through some of your normally most visited websites and the results could be a little more accurate I think. What would be really cool about this site is if it worked off of your bookmarks file instead. The question then still remains for you the reader. Do you browse like a girl or browse like a boy?
