Damn, Felicia Day is everywhere. From The Guild to Dr. Horrible to machinima sitcoms, this organic on the internet video star is on a roll. Now she appears as a neurotic fairy in The Legend of Neil, a parody of The Legend of Zelda created by her Guild costar Sandeep Parikh.

Yes, I know The Legend of Neil is produced by Comedy Central, which is owned by Viacom, which is a bunch of douchebags. I’ll let that slide just this once, just for Felicia.

She’s been an (illegal) torrent star for years, so it’s about time she produced a streaming exclusive. Paris Hilton throws her hat into the US Presidential race, in a parody ad by Will Ferrell’s comedy video-sharing site Funny or Die. I don’t normally care much for vertical video, but Paris is hot.

Hey, I’d vote for her. At least when she has sex in the Oval Office, we have the ability to all catch it on video.

Stupid commenters have plagued the Internet for decades. Like many things online, they’re now moving inside on the web video. With the greater accessibility of video comes lower audience IQ barriers, and with lower audience IQ barriers come ever-stupider commenters.

In a statement made to reporters earlier this afternoon, local idiot Brandon Mylenek, 26, announced that at approximately 2:30 a.m. tonight, he plans to post an idiotic comment beneath a video on an World wide web website.

“Later this evening, I intend to watch the video in question, click the ‘reply’ link above the box reserved for user comments, and draft a response, being careful to put as little thought into it as possible, while making sure to use all capital letters and incorrect punctuation,” Mylenek stated. “Although I don’t yet know exactly what my comment will entail, I have the ability to say with a great degree of certainty that it will be incredibly stupid.”

Ah, YouTube comments. With 4chan down, there’s no finer literature on the Web.

Combine the smart hotness of Hot For Words with the non sequiturs of Ask a Ninja, and you get 2 Hot Girls in the Shower. Sure, Kim Evey (producer, The Guild) and Julie Wittner (actress, Pushing Daisies) aren’t as educational as Hot For Words, but they’re certainly hotter than Ask a Ninja.

Fresh from her success in Dr. Horrible, Felicia Day returns to her Guild roots with a new machinima sitcom.

Machinima.com has hired her to write a sitcom set in–where else?–a popular video game. Look for five short-form episodes that will eventually be combined into a half-hour pilot; audience feedback will affect the creative direction of four more such half hours.

Gamers are some of the most vocal people on the Web. She’ll definitely have a lot of audience feedback to work with.
