Popular imageboard 4chan, to which YouTube owes many a meme, is down from a massive DDoS attack. Evidence points to a hacker by the name of Joe Biaso, alias “pacifico”. Enraged and resourceful 4channers are now posting his personal information across the Web. Brazen and unrepentant, Mr. Biaso posts a taunt video verifying the information.
If we learned anything from Victoria Lindsay’s attackers and David Motari, it is to avoid flaunting criminal responsibility, alleged or otherwise, inside online video. Apparently, Mr. Biaso here has not learned that lesson. I hope he’s ready for the FBI to come knocking.
