As a kid, the catchy, familiar “Clap On, Clap Off” jingle and technology amazed me. To be able to have total control over the lights with a simple hand motion basically equated to my concept of modern technology . . . awesome. I always urged my thrifty mother to take the dive and give it a try; I mean, it was the solution to so many problems!
